Can you beat Wall Street? I've met a lot of people that think they've got some preternatural talent for predicting the stock market. It's especially irritating when they have actually made millions that way and of course they know that luck had absolutely nothing to do with it. But if you've followed this little tutorial, now you know enough to be able to understand why such people are total self-deluded dingbats. The road to understanding this is interesting and I'll start a brief description of the way that the stock market, and in particular NASDAQ works. A lot of people have made their living claiming the opposite to what I'm going to explain, so what I'll say is not exactly the kind of stock investment advice that a lot of people want to hear. But being popular only makes you rich, not right.
